Blogging By Mail Package
My BBM package was from Erin at Erin Go Blog.
Unfortunatly I do not have pictures although they were taken. Anyway. She sent me some of her favorite things that included the following:
White cupcakes w/ chocolate/peanut butter frosting (recipe included)- these were yummy and my kids ate them up.
Recipe for the "Best Ginger Cookies Ever" Erin received this from Kimberly at Music and Cats in her first BBM - can't wait to try these cookies
A Vanilla candle - now how did she know that vanilla candles are my favorite?
Softlips lip balm also in vanilla - again my favorite flavor Yeah!
Chocolate covered Ginger - these are good and even my 21 month old loves them
Scooby Doo Stickers...She says people say she looks like Velma so she also included a Moo Card featuring a photo of her dressed as Velma - she really does look alot like her
Another Moo card with a photo of her apple Pie - Erin if your reading this YES I would love the recipe I'll have to remember to e-mail you.
A CD of her favorite music mostly from her boyfriends band - looking forward to listening to this
A little fat notebook - I too love these little notebooks
Ferrero Rocher hazelnut chocolates - now I'm not a big hazelnut person but don't worry because they were not wasted I had a hubby and several children that enjoyed these quite alot
Last but not least several differnt Teas - I too love tea and can't wait to try these new ones.
So that is what I got in my BBM package. I really enjoyed this round.

Hi Michelle! Glad you enjoyed the package. I'll work on getting that apple pie recipe online. :)
HOW FUN!
Hi Michelle-
I don't really have a recipe written down for the pie. The basic recipe is the Betty Crocker one, with some slight modifications.
http://www.bettycrocker.com/Recipes/Recipe.aspx?recipeId=36596
I usually need a little more water in the crust than is called for--I go by the way it feels.
I add more cinnamon and nutmeg...use according to your taste, of course.
I substitute cornstarch for flour in the filling. It thickens nicely this way.
I usually make deep dish pies, so I use more apples/additional ingredients in the filling. Again, I do this by look/smell, not so much by measurement!
I hope that helps. :)
