Motherhood

This is the other photo that represents "motherhood" to me. I am surrounded by all my children some are upset, some happy, some ready to be done, some distracted and some paying attention to things elsewhere. Everyday we see our children in differents moods, with different personalities. Yes, I like the pictures that come out with everyone looking forward at the camera, smilings, but I also like the photos that are less than perfect as they show my children in there true forms, less than perfect. We are all less than perfect and pictures that turn out so with funny faces, and wrong facing show a childs personality and can make for a more endearing photo.

I bumped into your blog through the mothers day contest. Wow 7 children, My parents had eight and it felt like a zoo to me, I imagine it must feel like that for the mom's as well. I have two boys and want daughters down the road but I don't think I want to go for 6 & 7 children to get my girls. but My mom always asked which one of us she should do with out. That ended the conversation since I love all my siblings. You have a beautiful family.

I'm all for less-than-perfect pictures. Those ones where everyone is dressed just alike with perfect hair and the kids are all smiling and looking like they've never had a moment of mischief in their lives just intimidate me. That's not reality at "my" house!
