Update on My Pregnancy.
Well I am not quite as tired as I was, but I have been having a horrible time with my allergies. The mountain cedar down here has been extremely high and just giving me a horrible time. I will be glad when the cedar is gone.
Well I finally with the help and advise of my midwife found a doctor. She is one of only two in town that even perform VBAC's. So that is a plus. Plus our midwife said that she had a doula friend that told her that she attended a birth where this dr. actually induced a women you was going for a VBAC in a very controled enviroment and that women ended up delivering naturally. So that is another positive for this dr. Now I also am keeping in mind that with my history of going 3 weeks late and the fact that I have had two previous c-sections that the probability of actually being given the chance of a VBAC is not good, but we have done everything we can to find a doctor where at least I have a shot. Now I have yet to see said doctor. Because of all the ice we had around here a couple of weeks ago and the fact that this doctor only sees new prenatal patients on Mon. mornings and the fact that she is going to be on vacation for two weeks I don't have an appointment until Feb. 19. I have never gone so long without a prenatal checkup. I yurn to hear the babys heartbeat and know for sure the baby is healthy and fine, but must wait for now. We do plan on finding out the sex of the baby although since this is the first time with a doctor I don't know when they generally do that sonogram. This is definately a new experience and we pray it will be a good one. My experience with doctors and birth have not been good ones. From doctors who lie to get you admited and induced and later state they have no proof for doing either. To another one who looked at me and said that if I was his patient I never would have been given the chance to have a VBAC. Hopefully this will be a good experience. The hospital that we deliever at will also be a new thing for us. So alot of new things to look for. Can't wait for the doctors appointment, but other than that doing fairly well.

Happy Birthday, Steven!
Today is my oldest son's 12th birthday. I can hardly believe that it has been 12 years since he was born. I remember that day well. So here are 12 things to know about my son.
1. He is named after 3 seperate people. My Daddy, a friend, and the dad of Kim @ Life in a Shoe
2. He was born 24 days late.
3. He is very much like his Daddy and his Grandpa (my Daddy)
4. He is interested in books, space, history, science, Nascar racing, airplanes.
5. He is one of three of my children that lived in a state other than Texas.
6. He is the only one of my children to wear glasses.
7. His favorite color is red.
8. He was rather shy until our #2 son came along.
9. He thought that the heartbeat of our #4 son on the doppler sounded like an alien.
10. He adores his sister even though he was not happy when we found out she was a girl.
11. He is one of my biggest helpers.
12. He thinks the new baby should be a girl so that Katie doesn't have her own room.
Steven, I love you very much! You are the best Steven I ever had! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Nathan!
Well I know this is a little late, but I have been having to use dial-up internet service since there is something wrong with my cable modem. Anyways I still wanted to wish my Nathan a happy birthday so here are 7 things about my Nathan you should know.
1. He was born Jan. 2, 2000 early in the morning. I spent the entire new milliuium
new years day in labor with him.
2. He is our quietest child in comparision to his brothers.
3. He is at the age where he wants to be like his older brothers, but still plays
well with his little brothers and sister.
4. He is very loving and loves to give hugs all the time.
5. He is our early to bed (before anyone else) and early to rise child. (I wonder
if that is because he was born in the morning and everyone else in the
afternoon/evening?)
6. He is a pretty happy child but can also be quite emotional at times.
7. He was the only one of our children that was suppose to be a twin. (when he was
born the midwives looked at the placenta and said that there was a twin early on
in my pregnancy that was reabsorbed by my body and never developed.)
