Update on My Pregnancy.
Well I am not quite as tired as I was, but I have been having a horrible time with my allergies. The mountain cedar down here has been extremely high and just giving me a horrible time. I will be glad when the cedar is gone.
Well I finally with the help and advise of my midwife found a doctor. She is one of only two in town that even perform VBAC's. So that is a plus. Plus our midwife said that she had a doula friend that told her that she attended a birth where this dr. actually induced a women you was going for a VBAC in a very controled enviroment and that women ended up delivering naturally. So that is another positive for this dr. Now I also am keeping in mind that with my history of going 3 weeks late and the fact that I have had two previous c-sections that the probability of actually being given the chance of a VBAC is not good, but we have done everything we can to find a doctor where at least I have a shot. Now I have yet to see said doctor. Because of all the ice we had around here a couple of weeks ago and the fact that this doctor only sees new prenatal patients on Mon. mornings and the fact that she is going to be on vacation for two weeks I don't have an appointment until Feb. 19. I have never gone so long without a prenatal checkup. I yurn to hear the babys heartbeat and know for sure the baby is healthy and fine, but must wait for now. We do plan on finding out the sex of the baby although since this is the first time with a doctor I don't know when they generally do that sonogram. This is definately a new experience and we pray it will be a good one. My experience with doctors and birth have not been good ones. From doctors who lie to get you admited and induced and later state they have no proof for doing either. To another one who looked at me and said that if I was his patient I never would have been given the chance to have a VBAC. Hopefully this will be a good experience. The hospital that we deliever at will also be a new thing for us. So alot of new things to look for. Can't wait for the doctors appointment, but other than that doing fairly well.

I forgot your due date but we are very close. I am 15 weeks tomorrow due Jan 20. I too have noticed the exhaustion easing up, but the nausea is still present every other day or so!

We find out the sex of the baby on Feb 23.

My due date is July 24.I haven't had too much nausea with this pregnancy but have had some. Mostly I eat and my stomach says that was the wrong thing. Funny I thought it was good. Or my allergies because I am draining make me gag and feel nausous.

I am thinking pink for you ;-)
I would be surprised if you didnt fimd out the gendar on your Feb visit. Its usually around 20 weeks, but they may be able to tell then as well.

I went with Eve until I was 38 weeks before even seeing a midwife, and with this one I guess I was twenty something weeks. I just like it that way I guess.

I pray that this experience and Dr will be a blessing to you and your family.

I was the most nauseus with these last two (the girls) and always more tired with the boys. Has that been your experience?

Audrey, I too am kind of thinking pink (my ticker does have flowerss) but not thinking too much about it. It is nice to hear that you went to prenatals late with good turnouts that puts me a little bit more at ease. So they usually do a sono at 20 weeks. I will only be a week and 1 day before that when I go for my appointment, I always have big babies, maybe they will be able to tell me the gender that would be wonderful. I was most nauseus with all of the boys. It is hard to compare this pregnancy with Katie's as we had quite a bit of emotional termoil and stress going on during her pregnancy and that caused alot of the symptoms that I had. But I could tell that in ways she was slightly different. I would joke with my husband over little tiny things (that I can't even begin to remember) I don't remember this with the boys maybe it's a girl. Of course I never thought it would be. In fact we had a free sonogram at some opening of a clinic and the dr said well there it is and I said oh another boy and he said "no boys don't look like that". I said "A girl?! It's a girl" I was soooo surprized. They gave us a little t-shirt that had pink writing to show that it was a girl and I said "look what we are having" and showed him the shirt and he said "a boy" I said "girls wear pink not boys"
